It’s another season of change in my life. I don’t cope well with changes, but I can say that I do cope with change a hell of a lot better now than I used to! That’s progress. So, as I sit here wondering what’s coming next, I remember exactly this: eventually, everything connects.

Not one of the experiences I’ve had in my life was by accident. I’ve learned lesson on top of lesson that brought me to today. A big lesson I learned early in life is that people leave. It’s just true. People stop walking alongside my journey with me, whether by choice or not, and they continue on their own journey without me. Sometimes they return, maybe. Most times not.

This is the change that’s happening with me now. Someone got off my ‘journey train’ and they pulled the track lever to a new direction for me. Now it’s time for me to take that turn. Hey, who knows? Maybe this person might rejoin me on my journey one day. All I can do is keep on keeping on.

Changes are rarely easy. They can be a good thing though. It just takes some courage to step into the unknown. Okay, let’s be real, it takes A LOT of courage. It’s difficult, but not impossible.
